Flower tutorial

Ever wonder what kind of flower is in a gorgeous bouquet? I'll admit, I don't usually because I figure I'll rarely have to request a certain type of flower. But education is always a good thing right? So if I stumble across the name of a flower, I'll try to include it here :)

Sweet peas! I never woulda guessed that these beautifully simple things were sweet peas (which sound much more humble, yes? vs. "simple" ruffles to me).

Aren't these just beautiful? And a fraction of the cost of the real deals, too! I've just recently read of fake cakes and I'm not sure if I could actually pull one off -- but gosh, it's pretty enough to try :)!

Hmm, unless posies are an actual flower? I think it's a bouquet-type, right?

Anyway, I saw these from Whimsy Floral and seriously loved how all over the place the flowers are -- I mean, none of them really "go" together, I would think. Except they do!

Okay, I feel terrible for basically trashing someone's dream wedding. Just because we have different tastes, that's not an excuse. I think all her dreams were filled, and that's almost number 1 about your wedding (#1 being, of course, exchanging eternally binding vows to your loved one, hee).

So.

More wedding inspiration -- but really, after this... well, I told myself I would focus on the spiritual aspect of our convalidation ceremony in a little over a year, rather than all these (beautiful! sigh-inducing! happies!) material things. So... um, after this post, one week off, or posting thoughts ... huh, maybe pics that help inspire spiritual reflection? (I'm such a cheater, I know -- but I love photos in blogs...) (Sigh) We'll see.
